You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

III. GOD OF ALL COMFORT    2 Cor 1:3-5

God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.  For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

1.

Through His presence

a. His presence when He led His people on the desert (Ex 13:17-22)
b.

His presence when the Israelite defeated Jericho

b.

A crown will be stored for us
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (2 Tim 4:8)

c.

Victory will be given
You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. (Rev 2:3)

3.

Through His kindness

a.

To be same as human being so that Jesus could feel the same way
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet was without sin. (Heb 4:15-16)

b.

By calling us as a friend and willing to get involved in our life
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.(John 15:14-15)

God knows that as human being, we are weak creature, but His eyes are upon us, He cares for us and even we have a special place in His heart. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save us and gave the Holy Spirit to comfort us.

So whatever problems you may have, come to Jesus. He’s there to wipe your tears and relieve your sorrow.

Trust Him and always remember that with Jesus, we are able to solve any problems.

Be strong and keep on moving in Christ.

In His field,

Rev. Gilbert Lumoindong
